In the lobby of a hotel in 1996, legendary international coach Bora Milutinović asked me what the most important thing in soccer was. The answer was simple: the ball. Every decision on the pitch stems from your connection with it. If you put time in with the ball, it rewards you with confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for the game.

My Story & Soccer Roots

Soccer wasn't just a sport I played growing up—it was our family culture. Guided by my uncle and coaching mentor, Tom Mulroy (a 13-year pro player and founder of Soccer Marketing and Promotions), I grew up immersed in the highest levels of the global game.

From traveling the world and running clinics alongside international stars sponsored by adidas, to sitting inside professional locker rooms right up until kickoff at major international matches and the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, I lived and breathed the beauty of soccer from an early age.

These unique experiences gave me rare insights into what shapes world-class players: technical freedom, bravery in 1v1 situations, and an infectious passion for training.

Playing Experience

My dedication on the pitch earned me a collegiate scholarship at the University of South Carolina–Aiken, where I competed in 68 matches. Following university, I continued playing in the USISL/PDL, US Open Cup, and top-tier competitive leagues across the country. My playing career reinforced my core belief: when a player masters their first touch and spatial awareness, the game opens up entirely.

Coaching Credentials & Leadership

Today, as a full-time coach holding my USSF "B" License and United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma, I bring these international principles to every single training session.
